A bit about me
2015
Around the world
Traveling the world and spending much of my adulthood in Jeddah, SA has taught me invaluable skills and exposed me to diverse lifestyles. These experiences have shaped my strong work ethic and dedication, which I now bring to my career as a Designer.
2017
University
I earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Ain Shams University in Cairo, followed by another bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Vancouver Island University. While my daily work doesn't heavily rely on my business studies, they provided me with a strong knowledge base and many wonderful connections.
2018
Working as a Designer
While in school, I worked as a freelance UX designer and started my own company. This experience helped me gain valuable skills, especially in managing teams, and allowed me to build strong connections with professionals around the world.
2019
Challenge and
opportunity
COVID
I can’t hide it, 2019 was hard. I studied, worked, and took part in a 6-month coding program. All while the pandemic was unfolding. Despite the difficulties, it was a crucial year for my professional and personal development.
2021
Through the grind
In 2021, I started working for the Canadian Red Cross. It was a year of focused hard work and improvements, where I learned many lessons through work and personal projects. I also dedicated significant energy to my freelance business, which later paid off.
2022
Achieving
The fullest year of my life. I had the privilege to lead various teams and mentor designers while working on multiple projects. In 2022, collaborating with incredible coworkers, I achieved remarkable results for both my team and myself. My efforts were recognized with multiple awards.
